Our origins
WHO WE ARE
SandisUbuntu Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, community development, and sustainable living practices.
The Foundation was birthed from the principle of granting an African child, living in a disadvantaged community, access to quality education. Therefore, addressing developmental challenges and needs of marginalised communities through an educational lens.
To date, the Foundation has pivoted and iterated several times, with the help of committed friends who are social entrepreneurs, yearning to assist the youth to overcome social injustices they have also experienced first-hand from growing up and living in township communities. In pursuit of its purpose, the vision of the Foundation is to nurture, safeguard and celebrate African arts and literature through the employment of Signatures already imprinted in the DNA of individuals residing in townships and rural areas.
